Managing your tablet settings

Configuring your App8 Manager settings is essential for efficient order management. This guide walks you through key settings, including auto printing, readability adjustments, order notifications, and tracking order status, ensuring a smoother experience for both staff and customers.

Open App8 Manager

1. Click the "App8 Manager" app to launch it.

Access settings

1. Click the gear icon on the left side of the screen to open "Settings".

Enable auto print

1. Click the "Enable auto print" toggle to automatically print chits when an order is accepted.

Adjust readability

1. Select the "Font size" you want to make chits easier to read. The default size is set to small.

Enable order notifications

1. Click the "Enable pending notifications" and "Enable sound notifications" toggles to receive alerts for new orders.
2. Adjust the notification frequency using the dropdown menu.
   • Recommended settings: 5s or 10s.

Track order status

1. Click the "Enable time left" toggle to monitor order status and countdown to pickup or delivery.
   • Orders are color-coded: green = on time.
