Link Management:

The "Link management" portal is a powerful tool that can be used to manage your beacons. It can be used to de-activate beacons, re-assign beacons to different table numbers, and access the QR codes for each beacon. Please refer to the steps below for instruction:


Steps:


1. Login to the restaurant portal: https://restaurant.app8online.com


2. Navigate to the "Link Management" portal on the left side of your screen



3. You will have the following options:

  • Search by serial ID (The serial number on beside the QR code on the beacon)
  • Search by table number
  • Request beacons
    • The "request beacons" button should be used if ever you need to order replacement beacons. Once the request is submitted and received by our shipping department, the beacons will be shipped out to you.




4. Once you've searched up the specific beacon that you wish to manage, you will have three options:

  1. De-activate beacon: If you need to de-activate or "turn-off" a beacon, you can use the de-activate button.
  2. Re-assign beacon: To re-assign a beacon to a new table number or assign a spare beacon, use the "reassign beacon" button, type in the new table number and click "Save Changes". 
  3. Access beacon link and QR code: If you need to access the specific link or QR code for a beacon, you can simply click on the QR code icon. The QR code can be downloaded or printed.
